Amish Cinnamon Bread

One of the most delicious bread I’ve ever tastes is this amish cinnamon bread. It’s super easy to prepare and crazy good with it’s cinnamon and sugar taste! Check out the recipe.

You’ll Need (for the batter):

1 cup of softened butter.
2 cups of sugar.
2 eggs.
2 cups of buttermilk or just milk + 2 tbsps of vinegar or lemon juice.
4 cups of flour.
2 tsps of baking soda.

You’ll Need (for the cinnamon mixture):

⅔ cup of sugar.
2 tsps of cinnamon.

How to:

In a mixing bowl, beat together the butter, sugar and eggs until well combined then mix in the milk, flour and baking soda.

In greased loaf pans, put ¼ of batter.

In a separate bowl, mix the cinnamon mixture ingredients and sprinkle ¾ of the mixture over the top of ½ batter in each pan.

Add the remaining batter to the pans and sprinkle with what’s left of the mixture.
Swirl with a knife to decorate and bake for 45 to 50 minutes in a preheated oven to 350°.

Let cool in the pans before removing and enjoy!

Easy, peasy and delicious! My kids love this bread so much, and of course they do, it’s full of sugar! Give it a shot, you will love it!
