Buttermilk Oven Fried Chicken


If you are a chicken lover, trust me when I say, you need to make this like yesterday! It’s so good you won’t get enough of it!

You’ll Need:

1 chicken (cut up).
3 cups of all-purpose flour.
2 tsp. of garlic pepper.
1 tsp of sugar.
2 tsp. of paprika.
1 cup of buttermilk.
2 eggs.
1 tsp. of baking powder.
3/4 tsp. of baking soda.
Olive oil.

How to:

Mix together the buttermilk, eggs, baking powder and baking soda until smooth.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, garlic pepper, sugar and paprika.
Dip each piece of chicken into buttermilk mixture, roll in flour mixture, dip again into buttermilk and again roll in the flour mixture.
Place the well coated chicken in a baking pan and drizzle it with olive oil.
In a preheated oven to 350 degrees, bake the chicken for 50 to 55 minutes until golden.
