Cookies are a gift from god to calm us humans! Especially those little creatures we call kids! These chocolate chip cookie biscuits are a must try!
150g of softened butter.
½ cup of caster sugar.
½ cup of brown sugar.
1 tsp of vanilla extract.
1 ¾ cups of plain flour.
½ cup of Nestle Bakers Choice dark choc bits plus 1 tbsp extra.
With an electric mixer, cream together the butter, sugars and vanilla for 1 to 2 minutes until smooth then add in the egg and beat until blended.
Add in the flour gradually while beating, then stir in the dark and milk choc bits.
Line 2 baking trays with baking paper then roll 2 level tablespoonfuls of mixture into balls and place on prepared trays 3 cm apart.
Decorate with extra choc bits and press down slightly.
In a preheated oven to 180°C or 160°C, bake the cookies for 15 to 18 minutes.
Place on a wire rack to cool completely.
