Chunky Monkey Brownies


I love brownies, my husband love brownies and my kids, well they’re kids, they love everything that contains sugar! These chunky monkey brownies is my latest discovery and I want to share it with you guys.

You’ll Need:

2 cups of gold medal Unbleached all purpose flour.
1 ½ cups of packed brown sugar.
½ cup of white sugar.
2 sticks (1 cup) of softened unsalted butter.
2 large eggs.
¼ tsp of salt.
2 tsp of vanilla.
½ cup banana, mashed with a fork.
10 oz of Hershey’s semi-sweet chocolate baking melts.
¼ cup of Nestle’s chocolate chips.
How to:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9×13 glass baking dish with cooking spray.
Using an electric mixer, cream together the butter, eggs, sugars, salt and vanilla until well blended. Add in the flour, the mashed banana and baking melts.
Stir gently with a wooden spoon to mix.
Spread and smooth the brownie mixture into the glass baking dish.
Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top.
Bake for 30 to 40 minutes.
Let the brownie cool before cutting into bars.
