Coconut Custard Pie

What’s better than a simple and easy to make pie? A coconut custard pie! Rather it’s for a special occasion or just to indulge yourself, this pie is amazing!

You’ll Need:

1 unbaked pie shell.
4 eggs.
⅔ cup of sugar.
2 ½ cups of 2% milk.
1 tsp of vanilla.

How to:

Using a hand mixer, beat eggs lightly then add sugar and salt, beat until thick. Add in milk and vanilla gradually while beating, then strain through a fine sieve. Add in ¾ cup of flaked coconut and pour the mixture into the pie shell. Sprinkle ¼ cup of coconut over the op.
In a preheated oven to 425 degrees, bake for 15 minutes then reduce the temperature to 350 degrees and bake for an additional 12 to 15 minutes.
Let cool for a few minutes before chilling in the refrigerator for several hours.
