Crab Cream Cheese Snacks

You know when there’s someone who you didn’t see in a long time and you just want to make them happy and the best way to do it is food? This is one of those snacks no one can say no to!

You’ll Need:

1-8 oz. tube crescent roll dough.
3 oz. of softened cream cheese.
1/4 cup of mayonnaise.
3/4 cup of cooked and chopped crabmeat.
2 green chopped onions.
1/8 – 1/4 tsp. of cayenne pepper.
Salt and pepper for flavor.

How to:

On a work surface, unroll the dough and pinch seams to seal. Roll with a rolling pin to create an even rectangle then cut into 6 rows by 4 rows to make 24 squares.
Mix together the cream cheese, mayonnaise, crabmeat, onion and red pepper then add in some salt and pepper for taste. Divide the crab mixture to match up with the number of squares.
Fill the squares leaving 1/2 inch from 1 corner of each one. Starting with the same corner, fold the dough over the filling and tuck end tightly underneath the filling. Continue rolling to within 1/2 inch of the opposite corner.
Roll the opposite corner of the dough over roll and press to seal.
Arrange the dough in a sprayed cooking sheet and brush with egg white.
In a preheated oven to 375 degrees, bake the snacks for 10 to 15 minutes.
These little snacks are best served warm.
