Quick Dinner Rolls

You came home tired and you don’t feel like cooking but your husband and kids are hangry? Here’s your rescue dinner! It works for me so give it a try!

You’ll Need:

½ cup of warm tap water.
1 tsp of instant yeast.
½ tsp of sugar.
1 large egg.
1 tbsp of honey.
1 ½ to 2 cups of all purpose flour.
½ tsp of salt.

How to:

Mix together the water, yeast and sugar in a bowl and let set for 5 to 6 minutes.
Add in the egg and honey and mix until smooth. Add in the flour and salt and mix together well to form a smooth and not too sticky dough.
Pinch off 6 pieces and form into rounds. Place the rounds in a greased cast iron skillet and cover with a towel. Let rise for 30 minutes or so.
In a preheated oven to 350 degrees, bake the rounds for 17 to 20 minutes.
