Snickerdoodle Muffins

We’re used to having muffins around the house. That’s why I always try to change my recipes so that we don’t get bored of the same ones. This is my latest recipe for snickerdoodle muffins, check it out.

You’ll Need:

1 ½ cups of self rising flour.
1 cup of oats.
½ cup of sugar.
1 egg.
4 tbsps of butter.
1 tsp of vanilla.
½ cup of sugar.
1 tsp of cinnamon.
1 cup of milk.

How to:

Preheat the oven to 400°.

In a bowl, mix all the dry ingredients together.
In a separate bowl, mix together the egg, butter, vanilla and milk.

Mix the dry and wet ingredients together until well combined and fill muffin cups ⅔ of the way full.

Bake for 12 to 14 minutes and while baking prepare the topping.
In a bowl, mix together ⅓ cup of sugar and 1 tsp of cinnamon.
Top the muffins with the mixture while still hot and voila!

Simple, easy and sweet! I personally brush the muffins with melted butter so that more topping sticks to the muffins! Give it a shot, I’m sure you will like it.
